Western Prairie Human Services serves the communities of Grant and Pope Counties in West Central Minnesota. Offices are located in Elbow Lake, MN in Grant County and Glenwood, MN in Pope County.

Residents of our communities may utilize either location to meet their needs.

 

Western Prairie Human Services mission is to be a person centered agency that partners with and empowers individuals and families, and promotes safe, healthy communities throughout Pope and Grant Counties.

Public hours of the Glenwood and Elbow Lake offices are 8am-4pm. 
There are drop off boxes at both sites that are checked during the week.

Services and Responsibilities
Human Services works in partnership with public and private agencies to help individuals and families be safe and successful. Western Prairie Human Services provides a wide array of services to eligible citizens.

To Report Child Abuse or Neglect
If the child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department. 
If you want to make an immediate oral report of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or exploitation of a
child on Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, call the below numbers a
nd ask for the intake worker.
You may also send an email to

If making a report by email, please include your contact information so you can be reached for clarifying questions or to obtain needed information that may not be included in the email. After 4:00 PM on weekdays and on weekends, please call the following to make a report:

To Report Adult Abuse or to make a vulnerable adult report, call 1-844-880-1574. Mandated reporters can contact the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) or call 1-844-880-1574. If the vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call 911.
