                                    2024 Child WelfareLeadership Award 
Stacy Hennen is the Director of Western Prairie Human Services, a joint powers entity formed January 1, 2022, covering Grant and Pope County and contracting with Traverse County Social Services. Stacy has been a human services director for 15 years. Prior to being a human services director, Stacy worked in child protection and supervision of a children’s residential facility for 14 years. Stacy has served in numerous leadership roles in the past 15 years. She was appointed by the Governor to the Governor’s Child Protection task force and served on it for its entirety. She was also appointed by the Governor to the Human Services Performance Management Council and served on it since its inception. Stacy was President of the Minnesota Association of County Social Services Administrators (MACSSA) in 2015 and served in many other leadership roles within MACSSA including Chair of their Children’s Committee and the first Vice President of MACSSA.

To Report Child Abuse or Neglect
If the child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department. 
If you want to make an immediate oral report of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or exploitation of a
child on Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, call the below numbers and ask for the intake worker. You can also

complete the Child Protection Form  and submit via email, which is the preferred method. Email submission is encrypted.

If making a report by email, please include your contact information so you can be reached for clarifying questions or to obtain needed information that may not be included in the email. After 4:00 PM on weekdays and on weekends, please call the following to make a report:

To Make a Report of Adult Abuse or Neglect, call 1-844-880-1574.

If the Adult who is Vulnerable is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department.

Mandated reporters please complete the Online Mandated Reporter Form
